Eating our Cress
Last week we all enjoyed eating the Cress that we grew earlier in the term. Mrs Meikle brought along some buns and some of us
spread margarine and Vegemite on, then we added the fresh Cress. You can see by our faces how much we enjoyed the taste.
You should try it!

We visited ENZA and enjoyed listening to Mr Van der Gulik and Rudi giving us information about growing lettuces and onions. We also loved eating the raw lettuce and the cooked lettuce and then of course hot rice inside the lettuce leaves topped off with different sauces was delicious!
We spent a lovely afternoon with two instructors practising our gymnastic skills. We had a great time.

Anzac Day
We made poppies for the school Anzac day liturgy. Poppies grew on Flanders fields where the soldiers had been killed.
We also made Anzac biscuits.......................
and visited the crosses which told us the names of some of the men from New Zealand who died in World War 1.

Easter Liturgy
On Monday 20 April our lovely class explained the After Easter story of Doubting Thomas to the school. We used the words from the Gospel of John which told us how Thomas would not believe that Jesus had risen from the dead until he could see the holes in his hands and his side.
